He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Oakes and Verna Oakes; his daughter Cheryl Marie Davis; and his sisters, Doris Kelly and Marilyn Patterson.

He is survived by: his wife Maureen Davis; his children, Lori McHugh (John) of Bensalem, PA and Wayne Davis (Amie) of New York, NY; and his grandchildren, Shane, Molly, Logan McHugh and Abigail Davis.
