He is survived by: his parents, Rosa Galati (Garisto) and Dominico Galati; his wife Julie Galati (Workman); his son Dominick Vincent Galati; his sister Josephine Galati; and his nieces, Alessia and Maria DiFilippi.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brain Injury Association of America.
