He was predeceased by: his sibling Dennis Traenkner. He is survived by: his spouse Carolyn Traenkner; his children, Steven Traenkner (Melissa) and Andrew Traenkner; his grandchildren, Quint and Charlotte; and his siblings, David, James, John, Michael and Robert.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Steven's memory to Veteran's Haven, PO Box 80, 301 Spring Garden Rd., Winslow, NJ 08095-0080.
