She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Henry Laws; her children, Darrell Branham, Yolanda Murray and Desiree Laws-Burton; and her siblings, Benjamin Merritt, Paul Merritt, James Merritt, Daisy Field, Sarah Vaughn and Alice Mayo. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
