He was predeceased by: his parents, William Taylor and Ella Lou Taylor; and his sister Joan Ann Brown. He is survived by: his wife Karen N. Taylor; his daughter Radonna James; his brother William Taylor (Kimberly Robinson-Taylor); his mother-in-law Miriam Sandoval; and his sister-in-law Cynthia Martinez (Joel Cox). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
