He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Harley and Allean Harley; his siblings, Ella, Lucille, George, Robert, Nate, John L. and Lucius; and his daughter Darlene Byrd.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Ruth; his children, Norma (Clarence), Anthony (Donna), William (Veronica), Norman (Roneta), James (Rebecca), Richard (Delores), Zachary (Charlene), Terrance (Angelic) and Kenneth (Courtney); and his niece Betty Anne Taylor. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
