He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Mendelson. He is survived by: his children, Debra Lilly (Bill Hunter), Richard Mendelson (Michele), Jerry Mendelson, Jr., Eric Simons (Katie) and David Simons (Lisa); his friend Dolores McDowel; his sister Christine Steiner (Lew); his grandchildren, Amber, Colton, Ashlee, Brooke, Ben, Jake, Josh and Alexa; and his great grandchildren, Paislee, Scarlett and Parker. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
