He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Sloan; his sons, Charles and James; and his granddaughter Nicole Sloan Wagner. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Sloan and MaryAnn Massa (Jimmy); his grandsons, Joseph Sloan, Charles Sloan Jr., Joseph Massa and Steven Massa; and his great grandchildren, Jacey and Jaxon.
