She was predeceased by: her parents, Isabell East (Mason) and Harold East; her husband James Prescott; and her siblings, Lititia Fenwick, John, Harry, Robert, Milton and Ronald East.
She is survived by: her children, James K. Prescott (Catherine), Kim Howell and Joann Trusty (Miguel); her grandchildren, Shaneika, Jonathan, Taniesha, Alexis, Andrea, Shakeil, Dymond and Chanell; her great grandchildren, Amya, Naiser, Trinity, Zaniah, JahmyJah, Imron, Messiah, Riley, Cameron, Alana, Siyion, Byron, Ava, Amari'yona, Elijah and A'Neen; and her siblings, Phillip East (Doris) and Sandra Jackson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Mom enjoyed the door-to-door ministry and actively participated, as much as she could pre-Covid, up until the age of 89. And even though over the last four years Mom was limited, she was happy to have had the opportunity to participate in her door-to-door ministry in September of 2022, when it was resumed by Jehovah's Witnesses after being suspended for two and half years during COVID.
