He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hertler; his children, Debi Hertler-Uron, Meredith Arnold (Jim) and Joseph Hertler; his grandchildren, Andrew DiPiazza (Tony), Justice Uron, Hannah Uron, Noah Uron, Tristan Arnold, Lydia Arnold, Nadia Arnold and Katrina Arnold; and his siblings, Barbara Goodwin (late Joe), Rose Crisanti (Paul), Betty Hertler, Richard Hertler, Albert Hertler and Teri Hertler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
