She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret Burkett; her grandfather Benjamin Brown; and her husband Calvin G. Gordy. She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Denise Gordy and Paula Marie Gordy; her grandchildren, Femi LaRenz Gordy, Tobi Calvin Gordy and Abreya Shayonna Mells; her sister Alberta M. Sewell (Ronald); and her siblings-in-law, Cordelia Bryant Cunningham (Sammy) and Cordelle Bryant. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
