He was predeceased by: his son Master Sergeant Zack Sheldon; and his sister Elizabeth Hecht. He is survived by: his daughter Kim Roberts-Honecker; his son-in-law Robert A. Honecker, Jr; his grandchildren, Brett, Zach and Mariah Honecker of Shrewsbury, NJ.; and his nieces, Carol Stolpe, Nancy Carey and Joyce Hecht of Columbus.
