He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Durand; his parents-in-law, Herb and Ruth Luedeke; his brother Durand Metrione Jr. (Joan); his sisters-in-law, Judy Gary (Bruce) and Arlene; his children, Dan, Lori Metrione, Linda Lutz, Laura McBride, Ellen and Brian Gibbons; and his grandchildren, Hollie, Carly, Emily, Alec, Kelly, Brian and Maeve. He was also cherished by his nieces and nephews.
