He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George F. Zeller and Helen Zeller (Halliday); his brother Ted; his wife Virginia Zeller (Mellaci) of Shrewsbury; his stepsons, Jay Czarnecki (Nancy) of Columbia, MD and Michael Czarnecki (Tracy) of Chattanooga, TN; and his children, James and Amy.

Bob was also a leader in his community, serving as President of the Middletown Council of Civic Associations, of the Navesink Library Association, and of the Duryea Foundation.
