He was predeceased by: his parents, William Geroni and Mary Geroni (Bruno); his son Ernest F. Geroni; and his wife Dorothy E. Geroni (O'Neill). He is survived by: his son William; his daughter-in-law Rebekah Geroni; and his grandsons, Derek of Union Beach and Dylan of Union Beach.

In lieu of flowers, Ernest's wishes were that any donations be made towards his grandson's college education.
