John L. Sullivan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. Sullivan of Short Hills, New Jersey, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William James Sullivan and Anna Amelia Flannigan Sullivan; his wife Ina May Kirk; and his siblings, William James Sullivan and Mercedes Marie Hergenroeder.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Marie Wirry, John Charles Sullivan (Catherine) and Robert William Sullivan (Judith); his grandchildren, Julie Lynn Peloso (David), John Ryan Sullivan, Kelly Ann Salter (David), Shannon Marie Sullivan (Stephen Stoll), Elizabeth Marie Sullivan, Michelle Anne Sullivan, Stephanie Marie Sullivan, Michael John Sullivan and Jessica Lynn Sullivan; and his great grandchildren, Parker James Peloso and Emma May Salter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested donations be made to Boys Town Father Flanagan House. It is a charity that was close to his mother's heart.
