He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Harris and Carrie Dawson Harris; his daughter Theresa Fogg; his stepparents, Thelma Harris and Eddie Gahrs; his sisters, Elizabeth Smith and Martha Sutton; and his stepbrothers, Jimmy Hardwick and Alan Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Harris of Shiloh; his grandchildren, Jessica Fogg of Hopewell Twp and Joseph Fogg IV; his sisters, Margie Harris of Bridgeton and Beverley Harris of Bridgeton; and his stepsister Joan Caldwell of Bridgeton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
