He was predeceased by: his parents, James Steel and Helen Steel; and his brother James. He is survived by: his children, Jill and Brian; his wife Nancy; his brother Robert Steel; and his granddaughter Gracelynn Dobson. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
