He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse J. Szymborski and Viola Szymborski (Fronzak); and his brother Ronald Szymborski. He is survived by: his wife Janet B.; his daughter Tracy Lynne Szymborski; and his siblings, Molly Jordan, Betty Tobin and Timothy Szymborski.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Richard's memory may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, Jones Rd., Medford, NJ 08055.
