With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Benedict Smith of Shamong, New Jersey, who passed away on August 9, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Smith and Ruth Smith (McNertney); and his brothers, Tommy and Paul Smith. He is survived by: his wife Connie Smith (Milne); his children, Tracey Syvertson (Robert), John B. Smith, III (Gayle M.) and Callie A. Smith (Annmarie Grassia); his grandchildren, Robert Syvertson (Bobby), Erik Syvertson, Abigayle Smith, Emily Smith and Luke Smith-Grassia; and his brother Richard Smith.
