He was predeceased by: his son Matthew William. He is survived by: his wife Diane P. (McGrody); his daughters, Amanda, Alyssa and Natalie; his parents, William B. Generao, Sr. and Donna; his mother-in-law Patricia; and his siblings, Tracey, Patti, Kim, Franny, Lisa and Terri. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
