She is survived by: her spouse John H. Emerson, Jr.; her children, Shannon Lynn Miller (Brian) and John H. Emerson, III; her grandchildren, Brian Miller, Jr. and Krystal Miller; and her sibling Dolores Beecroft (Dennis).
