She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Verdi, Sr.; her daughter Joann Piermatteo (Thomas); and her siblings, Joseph Ferraina, Sadie Campbell, Pearl Apa, Yolonda Scarantino, Thomas Scarantino and Anthony Ferraina.

She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Emeneo (Joseph), Paul Verdi, Jr. (Maria) and Maria Gargano (John); and her brother Salvatore Ferraina. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 late great grandchild.

To all of her family both that we have met and those we have not, It is rare to meet a person that within a minute of meeting her you are smiling and laughing.
