He is survived by: his mother Marlene L. Watson; his spouse Michele Watson; his children, Rebecca Link (Brian) and Edward T. Watson III; his siblings, Michael Watson, Marlene Medley, Sherrod Watson and Ruth Ann Medley; his granddaughter Emma Link; and his pets, Bruno and Pippen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to One Tree Planted.
