He was predeceased by: his close friend Althea Jones-Askins; his stepson Eric Jones; and his siblings, William "Snookie" Thompson, Emmitt "Butch" Thompson, Ruth Ann "Tunie" Thompson, Patricia Thompson and Jimmy Caraway.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Pinkman, Jr. (Esther Sellu), Jacqueline Arango (Anaro) and Annette J Pinkman-Wyatt (Andrew); his stepchildren, Sheila Jones, Jaime Askins and Victor Rolls; his siblings, Jacqueline Anderson (Earnest), Annette Fullwood-Manns (Al), Josephine "Toffee" Richards (Johnny) and Marion King (Lee); and his daughter Myrtle Pinkman. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
