He was predeceased by: his former wife Patti Sass; and his brother Dr. Robert Sass of Sharon, PA.. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Sass; his daughters, Roberta Robbins, Rebecca Benedetti (Greg) and Amy Sigmon (Mac); his stepsons, Mark Robinson (Donna), Michael Robinson (Sharon), David Robinson (Jennifer) and Dennis Robinson (Kristine); and his sister-in-law Patricia Burdsall. He is also survived by friends and former co-workers.
