He is survived by: his wife Rose Hughes (Buonavolonta); his children, Patrick Hughes (Claire), Stacey Damasio (Tony) and Michael Hughes, Jr. (Jill); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Shaun, Jake and Bobby; his brother Frank Hughes (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Buonavolonta and Michelle Hughes.
