He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence E. Rand Sr. and Ella Dow Rand; and his sister Elaine Chellin. He is survived by: his sisters, Marilyn Smolynec (Edward) of South Carolina and Bonnie Rand Arabatzis (Greg) of Westfield; and his nephews, Matthew Chellin, Austin Arabatzis and Aidan Arabatzis.
