He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Marie DeVoe. He is survived by: his children, Diane Petersen (Alvin) and Karl DeVoe, Jr. (Barbra); his grandchildren, Kenneth, Desirae, Leon, Karl, III and Katie; his great grandchildren, Kenny, Jr., Mackellis, Leon, Jr. and Omala; and his sister Janet Schmidt.
