He was predeceased by: his son John R. Keenan, Jr.; his parents, John Keenan and Mary Kane Keenan; and his siblings, William Keenan, Margaret McVeigh, Catherine Baucher, Mary Keenan and Patricia Keenan.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Nancy" Major Keenan; his children, Michael Keenan (Marie) of Hanahan, SC, Donna Wojciak (Bill) of Yorba Linda, CA and Lisa Papis (Jim) of Sparta, NJ; and his grandchildren, John Keenan III (Laura), David Keenan, Ryan Keenan, William Wojciak Jr., Craig Wojciak, James Papis, Jr., Steven Papis and Jennifer Papis. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) in Mr. Keenan's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
