He is survived by: his wife Manuela Santos; his children, Manuel Vilas (Mayra), Jose Vilas (Alicia), Nestor Santos, Yesenia Santos and Juana Santos (Michael); and his grandchildren, Jahaira, Jaime, Jasmine, Jordan, Daniel, Angela, Vanessa and Raquel. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
