With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stella Fontana of Secaucus, New Jersey, born in Hoboken, New Jersey, who passed away on July 31, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Florio and Joseph Florio; and her husband Paul Fontana. She is survived by: her children, Mary Schlatman (William), Victor Fontana (Lu-Ann) and Joseph Fontana; her grandchildren, Matthew Meyer, Paul Fontana (Crystal), Victor Fontana (Michelle Ayvas-Fontana) and Katherine Aguero (Adrian); her great grandchildren, Stella, Vincent, Sofia, Noah Fontana, Amelia and Mateo Aguero; her sibling-in-law Ignazio Fontana (Helen); her stepgranddaughter Nicole Buscavage (Chris); and her stepgreat-grandchild Madison Buscavage. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, close family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that donations be made in Stella's name to the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital http://www.stjude.org.
