He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolores Rodriguez and Pablo Torres. He is survived by: his children, Magali Torres, Blanca Torres-Santiago and Miguel Torres Jr. Guelo; his grandchildren, Damaneke, Dom Santiago, Melanie, Ryan Torres and Sienna Salamo; his great grandchildren, Dom Luca Santiago and Skylar Prestimonico; and his siblings, Jose, Carlos, Pablo, Mario and Blanca.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in Miguel's name be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
