She was predeceased by: her parents, Adelina Violano and Antonio Violano; her husband Salvatore Matteis; and her brother Biagio Violano. She is survived by: her children, Ciriaco Matteis (Daisy) and Marina Uva (Anthony); her grandchildren, Luis Matteis (Kim), Bianca Vadell (Freddy), Stephanie Uva, Christina Gendron (Tyler) and Michael Matteis (Tiffany Fowles); and her great grandchildren, Lucas and Gianna Matteis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Costa Memorial (170 Central Ave, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Corpus Christi R. C. Church (260 Boulevard, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604). An entombment was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Flower Hill Cemetery (5433 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Bergen, NJ 07047).
