He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Eglentowicz, Sr. and Pauline Eglentowicz (Starzynski). He is survived by: his wife Nora Eglentowicz (Riordan); his daughter Keri Ann Eglentowicz (Antonio Suarez); his grandchildren, Sofia and Marco Suarez; his brother Edward (Helen); and his sisters-in-law, Joan (Chris O'Connor) and Mary Downes (Patrick Daly) of Limerick, Ireland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and family.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in his honor to The St. Jude Children's Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org.
