It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward R. Dunning of Secaucus, New Jersey, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dunning and Daisy Dunning (Curtis); his wife Marie C. Dunning (Olfern); and his siblings, Evelyn Iacovelli, Ruth Dunning, Anna Schwenk, James Dunning and Herbert Dunning.
He is survived by: his son Edward J. Dunning (Lorraine); and his grandchildren, Connor and Emily Dunning.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mack Memorial (1245 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus, NJ 07094). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (1219 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus, NJ 07094). An entombment was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
