With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edna McGilly of Secaucus, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Edna left this world on February 7, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Edna is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Edna's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward McGilly and Kathryn McGilly (Reynolds); and also Edwin Marshman. She is survived by: her niece Peggy Klemick (Gerry); and her nephews, Michael Farley (Catherine), Robert Marshman (Veronica), David Yhlen (Kathleen) and Scott Marshman (John).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine's Church (1310 Ocean Ave, Ocean City, NJ 08226). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Of St. Damien Parish (1337 Asbury Ave, Ocean City, NJ 08226). A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
