She was predeceased by: her parents, James Angus Oxendine "Jim" and Melissie Locklear Oxendine; and her brothers, James Angues Jr. "Buddy", Charles Franklin Oxendine and David Ray Oxendine (Minnie Jane Locklear).
She is survived by: her husband John Shao; her brother Albert Malery Oxendine (Patsy Delk); her son Jerry Gulledge (Rusty); her grandsons, Jeremy Gulledge (Diana), Bryce Gulledge (Ryan) and Bryan Gulledge (Annah); and her great grandchild Asher Gulledge.
