He was predeceased by: his parents, Bridget Hughes and Patrick Hughes; and his son John Patrick. He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his children, Maureen Lloyd (John) of Oceanport and James Hughes; his sister Mary Hughes of Eatontown; his grandchildren, Dylan Lloyd, James and Brielle Hughes; his stepgrandchildren, Larson Whelan and Trevor Lloyd; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Logan, Harley and Emma.
