In loving memory of Barbara Jean Peter of Sea Girt, New Jersey, who departed this world on January 18, 2025 at the age of 96. Barbara Jean leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Barbara Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Peter (Pfreundschuh) and Herbert Peter; her sisters, Janet Kern and Lois Cullum; her brothers-in-law, Walter Kern, Francis Cullum and Charles McMahon; and her nephew Francis Cullum Jr..
She is survived by: her sister Nancy McMahon of Wall, NJ; and her caregiver Patti McMenaman. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, 37 grand nieces and nephews and 28 great grand nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church (215 Crescent Pkwy, Sea Girt, NJ 08750).
