He was predeceased by: his wife Genevieve (Surdovel); his parents, Arthur Kessinger and Catherine Kessinger (DeBoer); and his siblings, Arthur, Roger Kessinger and Catherine Wehrenberg.
He is survived by: his stepson William Sholz (Rose). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
