He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Goldberger and Max Goldberger. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Jill Apple and Eric Goldberger; his grandsons, Max and Griffin Apple; his brother Norman Goldberger; his nieces and nephews, Mindyjane Berman (Richard Berman), Bruce Goldberger (Esther Sperber) and Amy Levine-Kennedy (Kostya Kennedy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Bradley Berman, Austin Berman, Sonya Levine (Henry Simon), Maya Kennedy, Miriam Goldberger and Lia Goldberger; and also Maury Apple.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at the Sharon Gardens (273 Lakeview Ave, Valhalla, NY 10595). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue (30 W 68th St, New York, NY 10023).
