She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruton Braxton and Mabel Braxton; her brothers, Lindsay Braxton and Terry Braxton; her husband Norman "Dutch" Sevell; and her children, Gene Sevell, Christine Soreth, Kathy Sevell and Susan Sevell.

She is survived by: her sister Virginia Daniels; and her daughter Donna Sevell Leber (Carl) of Cranford. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
