He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Friedrich Unfried and Wilhelmine Unfried; his wife Marlene Klick Unfried; his children, Kirsten Zalisk (Mike), Erik Unfried and Birgit Maruszewski (Adam); his grandchildren, Tessa, Kai and Mina; his siblings, Friedrich Unfried (Inge) and Inge Raupp (Bernd); and his nieces, Anja, Yvonne and Simone.
