He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary DeMato and Joseph DeMato; his daughter Bridget; and his brother Tony Alaimo. He is survived by: his wife Sharon DeMato; his children, Bryan DeMato, Lisa DeMato, Tara Pulsinelli (Gregg) and Tracie Moran; his siblings, William DeMato (Patricia), Louie DeMato (Kathy), Nancy Cristaldi and Angela Alaimo; his grandsons, Gregg Pulsinelli (Melissa), Anthony Pulsinelli and Joseph Rivers; and his siblings-in-law, Timothy Dowd, Nancy Dowd, Dawn Dowd, Donna Scarola, Randi Klepner and Patti Inglese (Pete). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Joseph's name.
