He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Abbott and Virginia Abbott; and his sister Pat Guerard. He is survived by: his wife Gay Abbott; his daughter Cindy McQuoid (Michael); his grandchildren, Matt, Joe, Melissa, Sam and Jordan; his daughter Alicia O'Connor (Ed); his grandchildren, Erin, Brendan and Sean; his brother Paul Abbott (Glenda); and his nieces and nephews, Brian and Allison.
