She was predeceased by: her siblings, John Porter Jr., Doris Cuyler, Mercedes Carter, Joyce Ann Holmes and Rosa Mae Porter.
She is survived by: her husband Joe H. Irvin; her children, Yvette Johnson (Gary), Jacqueline Irvin, Diane Fuller (Michael), Angela Irvin, Tina Minor (Keir), Joseph Irvin (Angela) and Christopher Irvin; and her sisters-in-law, Lilly Irvin and Cora Taylor. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
With God's help she courageously battled Alzheimer's for the last 10 years of her life.
