He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Shaffer and Johanna Shaffer (Meyer); and his siblings, Rita and Henry. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his daughters, Marianne Bondarowicz (Andrew) and Karyn Gaulin (Eric); his grandchildren, Christopher, Kailey, Katelyn and Lily; his siblings-in-law, Stephen and Mary Ann Chopey; and his nephew Christopher. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
