He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Sr. Gawron and Santa Maria Tarallo Gawron. He is survived by: his wife Debra Konopka Gawron; his son William Jr. (Gayla Holoway); his stepson Christopher Konopka (Veronica); his brothers, George (Nora), Alfred Jr. (Ann Mackiel), John (Steve Zihala), Randy Stratton (Kelly) and Michael (Terri Gawron); his granddaughters, Brianna and Chelsea Gawron; and his siblings-in-law, Raymond, Shirley Konopka, Donna Smith, Diane Schultz and Dawn Dykeman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bill's name to St. Stanislaus School Endowment Fund, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or the Make a Wish Foundation.
