Sharon A. O'Pecko Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon A. O'Pecko having departed on August 6, 2024 at the age of 74.
Sharon was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Kos) O'Pecko and was one of 4 children of the couple. She spent most of her life in Parlin New Jersey. When graduated from school, she worked for many years at the great cosmetics firm Revlon. After her mother relocated to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Sharon followed to be near her and her younger brother Jimmy.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Joseph (1987), Mary (2022) and youngest brother John (2013).
She is survived by her older brother Joseph jr. (wife Mary Ann) and younger brother Jimmy.
Sharon was a warm and happy woman who was loved and admired by many. Her smile and friendly spirit were always welcome. She will be missed by all her friends, nieces and nephews and cousins.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Sharon find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of our Father. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home (15 Cherry Ln, Parlin, NJ 08859). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernadette RC Church. A burial will be held on Monday, August 26th 2024 at the New Calvary Cemetery.
